Shirley has been working with mothers, babies and young families for over 30 years as a maternity nurse, childbirth educator, board certified lactation consultant and La Leche League Leader. She and her husband have three children – now 33, 31, and 29 – and five grandchildren, ages 8 months to 5 years.

From a baby carrier she made from a pattern in 1973 to the present, Shirley has been using or researching a variety of carriers and slings. Without a doubt, the CuddlyWrap™ is the most comfortable and practical. Cuddling and carrying her grandchildren in the CuddlyWrap™ is always a special time. Shirley has also experienced the joy of watching her 81-year-old mother dance with her great-grandson using the CuddlyWrap™.
